Bali Sightseeing Tours

We have designed our tours into the wilderness so that they incorporate sampling the village atmosphere in your daily activities. Our tours cover the best of Bali, from the natural beauty of the hills, beaches, villages, temples, scenic volcano, spectacular rice terraces, the lakes, handicrafts, dances, to the unhurried life of the Balinese people. Trips to the most exotic destinations can be arranged, just let us know what you desire, the number of days you have available, any budgetary limitations, style of accommodation etc, and we shall be very glad to provide everything necessary (generally within 24 hours).

TP - 09 CENTRAL BALI TOUR (8.00 a.m. -5.00 p.m.)

This tour passes through four Regencies, Denpasar, Tabanan, Singaraja, and Bangli, visiting:
Bedugul - a cool mountain resort on the shores of Lake Bratan.
Air Saneh - a spring-fed pool by the sea, ideal for swimming.
Kintamani - take in the view of the still-active volcano and Lake Batur.
Kehen Temple - the second largest temple of Bali has three courtyards decorated with antique Chinese porcelains that have been covered with moss and lichen over the centuries.

TP - 10 BARONG & KRIS DANCE (9.30 a.m. to 10.30 a.m.)

The Barong play describes the eternal struggle between good and evil. The Barong represents good and the evil witch Rangda impersonates evil. The story is taken from the Mahabharata epic, and consists of five acts. The winner of the fight is undecided. In the last scene of the play the kris dancers fall into a deep trance and try to kill Rangda. Influenced by her magic spells that turn their weapons, the dancers begin to stab themselves with the sharp blades. At the end of the performance the white robed priest sprinkles the dancers with holy water to bring them out of their crazed state and back to consciousness.

TP - 11 KECAK, FIRE DANCE & TRANCE DANCE (7.00 to 8.30 p.m.)

The first of the three performances is the Kecak Dance. Up to one hundred men, bare from the waist up, form a layered circle, moving and chanting in simultaneous orchestration. This human melee forms the backdrop for the enaction of an episode from the Ramayana. Dancers swaying and bending their bodies, raising and stretching trembling hands, create a dramatic anenome-like effect. The second dance involves two young women who dance in trance, and finally comes the fire dance, performed by a male dancer who tramples on burning coals, prancing with a hobby-horse made of palm leaves.

TP - 12 LEGONG DANCE (7.00 to 8.30 p.m.)

Perhaps the most exquisite Balinese dance is the classical Legong Kraton, traditionally performed as entertainment for the Royal Courts and their honoured guests by young girls wrapped in hand-painted gold brocades with glittering head-dresses.
