History
PT Tunjung Petak Tours and Travel was established on December
9th, 1986, with paid up capital of USD 1,200 In 1988 the company
was acquired by Mr. G.N. Okayana, a successful businessman
from Bali, with a new vision in mind. He is supported by his
colleague, Mr. Hendro Wardoyo for general management and marketing,
Christian Vasselle from France, and Naoki Hiromata from Japan,
to ensure the company's survival.
Since July 2000, after many years of managerial experience,
Mr. Okayana has been directly operating the company's flagship.
A new vision has been developed, facilities have been upgraded,
and human resources have been developed. The aim is to make
the company more competitive and to keep up and improve it's
high standard of services.
Tourist classifications handled range from:
- Incentive Group (GIT); tourist groups whose travelling expenses
are paid by their company and organized by an agent from their
country who make a business contract with Tunjung Petak as
a destination organizer agency
- Individuals; tourists with direct booking (email/fax), and
return clients
- Non Incentive Groups; consist of a small group of 10-50
people with their own expenses

Tunjung Petak is fully computerized with an excellent communication.
At present, Tunjung Petak has 15 employees and about 20 experienced
multilingual independent guides with current government guide
licenses.

Facilities
Office; PT Tunjung Petak Tours and Travel's office is located
in Denpasar with an area of 330 square meters.
Computers are essential, so most staff have their own computer.
Computers are networked and internet ready.
Transport; All transfers and tours for FIT/GIT are provided
in air conditioned vehicles dependent on the taste and budget
of the guests. Vehicles available are:
- Deluxe A/C mini vans : Mitsubishi L300 & Mazda 2000
- Deluxe A/C self drive jeep : Suzuki Katana and Toyota Kijang
- Limousine : Mercedes Benz & Volvo
- Deluxe A/C coaches Mercedes Benz with 17, 22, 28, 33, 40
and 45 seaters
