Day 01 : Arrive at Vjung Vandang airport and transfer directly to Tana Toraja, lunch in Pare-Pare at local restaurant. Coffee break at Bambapuang. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 02 : American breakfast, visiting nearby villages and hanging graves: Londa, Lemo, Kete Kesu, Siguntu, local market, lunch at local restaurant. Dinner and night at hotel.

Day 03 : American breakfast, return to Ujung Pandang, on the way stop at typical Buginese/Makasarase villages, lunch at local restaurant. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 04 : American breakfast, short city sightseeing, transfer to airport for your next destination

Day 01: Ujung Pandang - Pare-pare -Toraja Island
Upon arrival at Ujung Pandang's Hasanuddin Airport, our guide will meet you, then you will be driven directly to Toraja by AC private car or mini-bus through charming Bugis villages into Sulawesi's lush green mountains. This remarkable drive (308 km) is full of fascinating sights. Along the way you will stop at Puncak Lakawan where tea, coffee and local cakes are served. Finally we arrive in Toraja in the late afternoon. Check in at hotel for accommodation and dinner.

Day 02/03 : Toraja Excursion
Two days are set aside for excursions on Toraja Island. Highlights of this region include the ancient stone graves of Lemo, Londa, Suaya, and Marante where the bodies of the dead are placed in holes carved into rocky cliffs or inside natural caves in accord with ancient traditional rituals still performed today as they have been for centuries. You will also see the remarkable traditional houses of Kete Kesu, Nanggala, and Palawa with their highly stylized curved roofs designed in the shape of a boat or similar to that of a buffalo's horn. Traditional ceremonies or funerals can be reached on foot and can be included in this tour. You will certainly have a chance to visit one of traditional markets. All meals are provided.

Day 04: Toraja - Sengkang via Palopo
After breakfast at the hotel, you will drive to Sengkang via Palopo. Enjoy the beauty and scenery of the rain forest on the way to Palopo. Visit the traditional port of Palopo. Lunch en route. After lunch, continue to drive to Sengkang. Upon arrival visit Lake Tempe to admire the floating houses of fishermen along the river and observe their daily activities. Then visit the silk-weaving center, check in at hotel Apada or Pondok Eka. Dinner will be served at the hotel in a traditional way.

Day 05: Sengkang - Bira
After breakfast at the hotel, you will drive to Bira through Bugis village and enjoy the rice terraces along the way. Visit Tana beru to see traditional boats/pinisi under construction. Arrive at Bira, check in at Sapalobe Beach Hotel. After lunch, you can enjoy bathing or swimming.

Day 06: Bira - Relaxing
A full day is reserved for relaxing, snorkeling, bathing. Diving can be arranged (optional). Meals are provided.

Day 07: Bira - Ujung Pandang/Airport
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Ujung Pandang/Airport and see where sea-salt is processed. Visit a traditional port in Ujung Pandang, famous since the 17th century. Lunch is served at a Chinese restaurant in Ujung Pandang. Then drive to airport to depart for the next destination.
